Vineyards Postup


 
In the South of Croatia in the county of Dalmacija on the penisula Peljesac lays the most famous wine area of the region called Postup. A small village at the Adriatic sea with the devastating view on the Korculan Kanal and the medieval City of Korcula.

Postup
is the wine-growing appellation next to Dingač on the south-western slopes of the Pelješac peninsula in coastal Dalmatia, Croatia. Postup was granted "protected geographical origin" classification in 1967 (Dingač received this certification in 1961, making it the first Croatian wine appellation with "protected geographical origin" status, with Postup the second).


Postup is famous for its red wine that has been produced there for many centuries, the grape sort used is the Plavac Mali and the rich soil and the reflection of the water gives the grape the perfect climate to grow.

In this wine area Siieg has a vineyard with possibility to build two small villa s at the sea with, swimming pool, mooring and other facilities. Architects are drawing the plans of the houses and the facilities at this moment, building works will start October 2011.
